Dear Diary

Found a house this past weekend. There was a point where my parents and I hit bottom. The places our Real Estate Agent showed us were terrible. Well, two out of the threee. And Three was under contract.

But fate availed. For Sale By Owner, one of Mom's former students. Deposit, handshake, move in when you like. Score! I have a house, two bedrooms, a sunroom, a funky retro kitchen, and a kickin' yard. The puppies and I should be very happy.

Got about 6 weeks to go. I'll be down in the classroom next week, seeing what I have and what I need.

Eye Candy

Fun stuff to look at! This one is really cool, and kinda creepy. Read the instructions before you jump in: http://www.johnsadowski.com/big_spanish_castle.html

Where would you like to go today?

I don't know how much longer this story will be up. Its interesting, the world's largest "camera obscura" : http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/13325440/from/ET/

Learn more about "camera obscura" here: http://brightbytes.com/cosite/what.html (Google it for more links)

Also, check out this contemporary artist doing works involving a "camera obscura": http://www.abelardomorell.net/index.html

This is a spiffy link, compare and contrast various "artists" according to your own criterion: http://www.philosophersnet.com/games/britney_spears.htm

Have fun!

Dear DIary

This is me. Sorta.

I make a point each summer to get to as many art festivals as possible in the St. Louis area. This fabulous photo-op was at the Webster Art & Air Festival.

Its Mona Beth! Or something like that... Posted by Picasa
